Post Monterrey, Safari home page is different

Since installing Monterrey (OS 12.6.1) the Safari homepage has "favorites" and "reading List" on it along with a different background. I'd like to have just a search engine, eg., Google, come up when Safari's home page is opened. Here's a picture of what it looks like after Monterrey. Thank you.

Refer to Change General settings in Safari on Mac - Apple Support. Change "New windows (or tabs) open with" > Homepage.

Under Homepage, "Enter the URL of the webpage you want to use as your homepage, or click Set to Current Page to use the current active webpage."
