Unable to access calendar while on a call.

When on a call, I swipe up on the bar to see apps. After tapping on calendar app, the screen goes black for 1 second, then apps reappear. Repeating does the same. The call is not interrupted. Calendar works fine when not on a call. Thank you.

Hi there No1sdoggy,

If Calendar isn't opening as expected while you're on a phone call, you'll want to start by making sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS 16 that's available, which is iOS 16.1.2. You can check that in Settings > General > About > Software Version. If needed, learn more about updating your iPhone here: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Next, if your iPhone is up-to-date, try restarting it to see if that resolves the issue for you:

1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
The volume button is located on the left side of the device, and the side button is located on the right

2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

You'll find those steps here: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

If the issue persists beyond that, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support directly for more help here: Contact - Official Apple Support

Take care.
