I can not connect my iPhone to my MacBook

how can I connect my iPhone to my MacBook since I cannot find a USB cable port in my MacBook

Newer Macs have a USB-C port. If you only have a lightning-to-USB-A cable, you will need an adapter. Or, you can by a lightning to USB-C cable.
