The TikTok app is on my phone somewhere but I can’t see or find it. I want to delete it but can’t. I already deleted it off my homepage, but it’s still installed. If I search my phone it shows, but I can’t delete it. It’s no where on my home screen.
Thank you. I had looked there before but even in the App Library I could not see it. When I looked again, because I had searched for it so often I guess, it was in a new "box" called "suggested. From there, a hard press and I deleted from my phone. I SWEAR I did this before.
TikTok is illegally (per law and apple App Store) listening to me and probably watching everything I type and search. I know this because there are many examples (here's 1, my sister and I FaceTimed and talked about here joining her HOA board and running for president, I had never searched this topic on any device, and the next time I open TikTok the 3rd or so post it shows me is about HOA and boards) where I know I did not search or tell "it" about a topic and it appears in my FYP. This is nuts...
But thanks for the final final removal of the app. Too bad it's so addicting I got an android tablet to run it!

Try Resetting the Home Screen:

Scroll to: Reset the Home Screen and Apps to their Original Layout

Restore to Factory Settings:
If you are so concerned, then restore your iPhone to factory settings. Go here: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Backing Up Items:
Note that all downloads would be lost. So, make a note of Apps that were downloaded. Also, enable items in iCloud, so that all is backed up. As an example, here is how to backup Contacts...
I. Enable items (i.e. Contacts) in iCloud Settings:
Is Contacts enabled in iCloud Settings? If not, then enable it, and see if it pops up. If so, then it is gone amongst all devices associated to your Apple ID. So, to enable it:
A. Enabling on an iPad:
Enable Contacts in iCloud:
and...
B. Enable on a Mac:
Is Contacts enabled in Apple ID on your Mac? If not, enable it.
If you can still find it when you perform a search on your iPhone, then you are right, it is still on your iPhone and can be found in the App Library. The App Library is the last Home Screen on your iPhone when you continue to SWIPE LEFT until you reach it. Once you are in the App Library, then you can search and find the TikTok app. Once found, then you can delete the app out of there.
