Hello,

It appears that you may know the ID of the account but can't reset your password because of forgotten security questions and because your reset email is being sent to an unknown different iCloud account (not sure about that part) which you also don't have access to. Unfortunately it appears to me that methods that Apple has set up - such as If you didn't receive your verification or reset email - Apple Support - for dealing with this are not available to you because you do not have other information required to get the forgotten information. E.g. In order to change your notification email you need to be able to log into the account -- it all comes around in a circle. At this stage I would suggest calling Apple security and see if they have any suggestions for you.

Try the directions in the article If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions - Apple Support for resetting your security questions:

"Reset your security questions

1. Go to iforgot.apple.com.

2. Enter your Apple ID, then select Continue.

3. Choose the option to reset your security questions, then select Continue.

4. Enter your Apple ID password, then select Continue.

5. Follow the onscreen steps to verify your identity. The information you’re asked to provide may vary based on your account details and other factors. If you don't get any options to verify your identity, you can't reset your security questions at this time.

6. Choose new security questions and answers and select Continue. See our tips for choosing security questions and keeping your account secure ( Security and your Apple ID - Apple Support )."

If you get a message about not sufficient information then realize that several years ago Apple transitioned to using to two factor authentication instead of security questions. The directions I provided earlier are from an Archived article. That means if they work then great, and if they don't then Apple won't help you on resetting security questions as such. Apple has been encouraging users to switch to the newer security system, two factor authentication. Your next recourse will be try to change to two factor authentication as outlined in this article --> Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support Follow the instructions in the section "Turn on two-factor authentication for your Apple ID"

I'm sorry then but I suspect there is nothing they will do about it. You have to be able to prove to them you are the account owner. If you do not meet their criteria then they won't let you in. Accounts are now more than just a chat BBS of the nineties. They have a lot of personal and financial information so security is a pretty strong issue. Unfortunately you weren't using two factor authentication because they do provide some support for that. Apple basically dropped support for security question issues a year or so ago.
