Hyperlink in a photo on my iPhone

How can I add a link to a photo?

I sometimes do a screenshot of a product on a website with a price and want to know if it changed or just send a link to a friend later.Screenshot is a picture and I can’t get a link from a picture, obviously.

Or I go to a place and want to add a website link of that restaurant or google map address. All sorts of links.

Of course I could search the product by name on a website and I could press a button (annoying one) to retrieve a text from a photo and search it.

I know I can actually add text to a photo, but links are long and take up 4-5 lines on a photo and by retrieving-a-text-from-a-photo button adds unwanted characters in between the lines making it useless.

So I have to go to edit, choose pen, choose etc, add text and then tap to choose edit text, and then triple tap the text to choose it all and then choose copy to actually retrieve a working link.

Is there any way around it?

Thank you

I’ve looked up the link. The metadata tweaking app is interesting. And while I tweaked it I found out that I can add a caption in the info field of a photo and it recognises it as a link and makes it clickable. Which is exactly what I was looking for.

And it was looking right in my face.
