Why is Apple asking me to subscribe £7.49 a month to use Voice Recorder, when previously it was free?

Voice Memo is free from Apple and Voice Recorder is not from Apple.

Siri suddenly signed me up for a free trial of Apple Music So, I said to Siri "Hey Siri timer ten minutes". Siri says "on it", then "working on it", then something to the effect that I have been signed up for a free trial of Apple music, it then proceeds to play some random piece of music via the music app. I could only stop it by powering down my iPhone. Good job I wasn't in a situation where this sudden outburst would have been embarrassing What the hell does Apple think they are playing at. Am I likely to get automatically billed at the end of the trial period?

Subcription + track charges I've just subscribed for the 1 free month and £10.99 per month, when I went to "purchase" an audio track it still wants to charge me for the track????
