I have started my iMac Pro with Command+R. Started Disk Utility.
Erased the two partions I had. (Mojave and Bootcamp. Partioned it all to one partion. Erased it again with AFPS.
Still: Windows shows up when starting with option key held down! What can I do to fix this? Nothing works!
If you used another method other than Boot Camp Assistant you will have to start over and reinstall your MacOS. Boot Camp has never supported any other method of removal of the Boot Camp partition other than using Boot Camp Assistant.
Make sure you have a backup of your Mac partition data beore you start over.
The way to uninstall a Boot Camp partition and Windows and return the drive to MacOS only is to use Boot Camp Assistant.

Well, I know but that does not help me now. The method I used always worked before. No logic to not be able to format the drive and restore it fresh. So there is no way to the delete the windows left overs?
Did you read the above? The drive is wiped, formated. No OS. Clean.
I have now reinstalled Monterey. Still the Windows left overs shows when holding down option at restart. The Bootcamp tool have no options to ”delete” what’s is no longer there (but some scraps obviously are).

That, did not help. It only changed the partitions name from Windows to EFI Boot or something like that. Still there…
Problem solved. This extra command after following the guide above "rm -rf Boot" after "rm -rf Microsoft" will do the trick.
