Finding Pages Templates on Time Machine

Where do I go to find, inside Time Machine, templates for Pages that I've created? I've had to re-install the OS (Monterrey) and those templates are no longer accessible easily.

In a previous "discussions" post, I came across some answers that don't make sense to me, such as (eg., ) going to : /Users/$USER/Library/Containers/com.apple.Pages/Data/Library/Application Support/User Templates/

When I attempt to search for that, nothing comes up. Please, help, as I've invested a lot of time creating business templates for my business and now can't find the.

In Finder under Go > Go to Folder..., copy and paste:

~/Library/Containers/com.apple.iWork.Pages/Data/Library/Application Support

Find User Templates, click on it, then enter Time Machine and Restore.

Ah, I did not know one can select a specific folder, eg., templates, and search Time Machine for the old copies. When I did this, Time Machine (TM) only goes back to mid-September. Is that likely because there is so much data on the HD, that TM needed to erase earlier backups?

And, when one is back to an earlier backup copy on TM and clicks "restore," I'm presuming that only restores the selections showing in the window and not beyond.

Thank you for your help.
