Can Apple come up with a new app for air tags?
We are currently using an air tag to help keep track of our autistic daughter when she goes to school and therapies. She is a runner, and non-communicative. The tag is linked to her iPad, so if she gets out of a room, they can sound off the tag to help find her being as she likes to crawl into spaces. The problem comes when we are out and about and might not have her tablet right in hand. If the airtag could be linked to the account, then the app would allow others to track the location, play sound of tag, and not be notified when tag was nearby or following. When being added by others to the app, the owner of the air tag would have to allow access to the AirTag in a similar manner to screen time approval for child account app purchases. This would be a great benefit for those of use with disabled kids!
