Can’t send links via Messenger

I am starting to really hate iPhone after switching from Android. The first time I used it, there’s a problem a technical support even had to call and assist plus many other problems I saw other people complained in the net but there was no solution. Now, I tried searching the net why can’t I send links via Messenger and it turned out I’m not the only one experiencing the problem with their iPhones. Can anyone in here help me?

iPhone 11, iOS 16

Hey Mariaa0105,

We'd be happy to help out. It sounds like you're having an issue sending links via the Messenger app. This app isn't developed by Apple though, it's developed by Meta.

Make sure you have the Messenger app fully updated in the App Store and if you continue to have issues, delete the app and reinstall it. For help with doing so, follow these steps to delete it and redownload it:

How to delete an app
1. Touch and hold the app.
2. Tap Remove App Remove App icon.
An iPhone screen showing the menu that appears when you touch and hold an app. Remove App is the third option in the menu.
3. Tap Delete App, then tap Delete to confirm.

This is outlined here: Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Once deleted, reinstall with these steps: Redownload apps and games from Apple - Apple Support

If you continue to have issues afterward, please contact Meta support, since Messenger is developed by them and any issues with the app should be reported directly to them: How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

Take care!
