Au Audio File Player Plug-in (in Logic Pro) not reacting to anything

I’m Logic Pro I was going to use the AU Audio File Player to play some MP3’s through it, but when I open the plug in, it doesn’t respond to any clicking, dragging, holding— nothing. I tried restarting logic, nothing. I tried a different computer and the same issue persisted there! I can’t get the files window to pop up that would allow me to select my MP3’s to add. All other Apple, Au, and 3rd party plugins work fine. I also tried redownloading the Au plug-in library, also with no avail. Kinda stuck
