Exchange MacBook air 13"

My Uncle bought me a MacBook air 13" M1 but he purchase the wrong one he was supposed to get the M2 can I exchange it for the right one and pay the difference in price I got it on Thursday December 8, 2022 so I have only had it for a few days and can I also return the sleave and Hardshell as well that came in the mail yesterday Fri December 10,2022 because it won't fit the M@ because it is a little bigger. I can put that towards the purchase of the M2
