Music video not located by Mac Music

A couple of music videos purchased by wife shared with me and added to Music Videos 3 months ago now show as not locatable. Spotlight has found them in ///files/Users/name/.Trash/Unknown Album which cannot be found by Finder. I know purchase date, adding date etc but cannot get music videos to show in Music Family purchases. Where do I go? What do I do?

Hello M0ndayTuesday,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

If the Music videos were purchased from the iTunes Store they can be redownloaded:

"Redownload music from the iTunes Store in the Apple Music app on your Mac

Before you can redownload music that you purchased from the iTunes Store, you need to authorize your Mac using your Apple ID.

  1. Open the Apple Music app.
  2. From the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Account > Purchased. If you use Family Sharing, you'll see Family Purchases instead of Purchased.
  3. Find the music that you want to redownload. If you use Family Sharing, choose a family member next to Purchased to see their purchases.
  4. Click the download button Download button next to a song or album.

Don't see the music that you purchased?"

More details can be found here: Redownload music

If the issue persists, can you provide a few more details? Where were the music videos originally purchased from? How were they sent to you? Also, does your wife still have access to them?

Cheers!
