Is there Immersion reading in Books? (Reading and listening at the same time)

Hi! Can anybody confirm whether Books has something like immersion reading?

The way it works in the Amazon ecosystem is: I buy a Kindle book, I buy the same book as an Audible audio book. I can read and listen to it at the same time in the Kindle app. If I listen to the audio book alone while on the go, the Kindle book syncs to where I left off, and the either way around - if I just read for a bit because I forgot my airpods, the audio book will know where to pick up from.

Does it work similarly if I buy a book and an audio book in Books?

I see that the store suggest audio versions when viewing books in Books, but that still doesn't guarantee the app can do what I need and everything I can find online is super vague (or it refers to using Accessibility festures).
