iPhone 11 suddenly freezing and lagging

Ever since my battery ran out of charge last night, my iPhone 11 keeps lagging and freezing. Something seems seriously wrong. Phone is less than 2 years old and managed through my employer. Anything I can do before trying the factory reset (last resort)?

Have you tried a forced restart?

Press and quickly release the volume up button.
Press and quickly release the volume down button.
Press and hold the side button.
When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.
