Generally no - as Apple does not now use a serial number schema that identifies models or manufacturing data.


If you have access to your device settings, model information can be found here:

Settings > General > About


Similarly, you can find model specific information for your devices from your iCloud account:

https://icloud.apple.com - open the Devices Tab


Still not sure which iPad you have?  Identify your iPad model.
