email folders
I deleted my wife's mac mail from my computer and it also deleted it from her phone. Ahhhhh. She got the emails back but not into the folders they were in. Any ideas? She does not use time machine.
The computer and iPhone are signed in with same Apple ID say example1@icloud.com on the same network and synced , when mails from inbox of computer are deleted they will move to trash mailbox of iCloud , if they are deleted from inbox of gmail account ( if configured with mail application ) they will move to trash mailbox of gmail .
You can select ( use command and A keys ) , copy ( use command and C keys ) and paste ( use command and V keys ) those mails to inbox of respective folders .
The same mails will again mirror in iPhone in respective folders .

If you mistakenly delete messages, just drag them out of the Bin mailbox to another mailbox. Or select them in the Bin mailbox, then choose Message > Move to > [mailbox].
