apple watch wont turn on.

hi i have an apple watch series 6 and it’s been dead for awhile.. so i tried to charge it and it just comes up at the charging screen and it’s green. so yesterday i accidentally got in the shower with it on and i think a little water got in it and it’s still been dead. trying again now and it still shows and the charging screen and won’t charge, please help!!

If the Apple Watch has stopped responding,I suggest performing a force restart. Steps needed are found in the Apple Support article: Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support

i.e. press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.

If you've completed that troubleshooting and the issue is still not resolved, Contact Support. If water did get in then it will probably need replacing
