How can I sync Text Replacement between devices?

I entered some new Text Replacement phrases on my iPhone

but they didn't get synchronised on the desktop, although

i believe it did used to.

Did I accidentally turn off a setting I'm not aware of?

-Or was there never sync between devices for that?

Thanks for your help.

Hello bienne,

It sounds like you want your text replacement to be sync'd across your iPhone and Mac devices. To be sure, are you logged into each device using the same Apple ID? If not, this will be why this feature stopped working. If they are both logged in using the same Apple ID, you may want to verify your settings.

Note: If you want to use your text replacements on another device (using the same Apple ID), you can use iCloud. Just set up iCloud Drive on your Mac, iPhone, and iPad, and sign in everywhere using the same Apple ID. When you add a text replacement on your Mac, it appears automatically on your other devices (and vice versa).

You can see the information above, and more info about text replacement here: Back up and share text replacements on Mac.

We hope this information helps you out.

Cheers!
