As many as you have email accounts for. Each Apple ID is a combination of email address and password. There is no limit for how many you can have as long as you have enough email accounts.
Do note, Apple IDs are separate, and can never be merged. Purchases and content from one cannot be transferred to another.
It is always highly recommended to just keep one Apple ID updated and accessible and logged in on all Apple devices you own.
It can get very complex to manage multiple Apple IDs, and is not something I would suggest you do.
