what does "matched" mean
In Music, what does "matched" mean next to a song? I know it's a duplicate, but does it just get removed or do I have to do it manually?

Hi,
Read this Use Sync Library to access your music library across your devices – Apple Support (UK). When you first subscribe to Apple Music, your library is scanned to determine which tracks can be matched or needs to be uploaded. Your existing library is not changed and you should make a backup of this library before subscribing.
Matched tracks are not duplicates as they should be mirror images of tracks on Apple servers. Uploaded tracks are added to iCloud music library as Apple does not have them on their servers.
If you wish to free up hard drive space, you can remove downloads and stream from your Mac or iOS devices. If you cancel the subscription, you lose access to iCloud music library. You will still have access to your own music provided that it has been downloaded. This is why you should keep a separate backup.
