Device comparison - MacBook Pro or iPad Pro?

Considering making the switch to an iPad for work/university study/personal use. I currently own a MacBook but find the lightweight design of the new iPad Pro (12.9 inch display) very appealing as I'm travelling a lot.

Would there be any foreseeable issues using an iPad instead of a MacBook? When set up with a keyboard, is the new iPad Pro equipped for everyday use for work and/or study purposes? Or would it be wise to stick with a laptop?

Any advice much appreciated! :)

iPad Pro, 12.9-inch, 6th Gen, Wi-Fi

Choosing Between an iPad and a Computer:

Issues (Comparatively-Speaking):

Yes. Issues are highly-foreseeable here. The iPad is a mobile device --something you'd get nothing of same capabilities as a computer. Each works off of their own platform. A computer are intended for high-speed and high-multitasking, whereas a tablet is intended for much lower use. So, if it were me, I'd stick with the laptop, based on my everyday needs.
