US iPhone14 in UK

UK business person wants to gift kids in need iPhone14. It’s large quantity, less expensive buying in US, then ship to UK.

Other than no service warranty, is it fine to use US iPhone 14 in UK.

Also, what are Telecoms in the UK?

All iPhone 14 Models that are sold in the US, do not have a SIM card tray and therefore cannot use physical SIM cards. These iPhones use eSIM only. These iPhones can only be used with those carriers that have ability to provide service while using an eSIM. NOTE: iPhone 14 models sold outside of the US have the ability to use a physical SIM card and/or an eSIM.

The above means that you will have to use a carrier in the UK that has eSIM capability so that there is cellular service available on those US iPhone 14 models. You can click here 👉 to Find wireless carriers and worldwide service providers that offer eSIM service - Apple Support

There are several benefits for using eSIM and a couple of them are:

  1. There is not opening (SIM Card Slot) in the iPhone and therefore no place for environmental subjects (Moisture, Liquids, etc.) to breach in the body of the iPhone.
  2. More space for other components of the iPhone.
  3. Easy for the consumer to activate service without having to wait for a SIM card or going to the provider's store.

The above are just a few that I have listed, however if you perform a Google Search on the subject then you will find a lot of pertaining information.
