Sim card change

I have two chinese sim cards that i have been using for ten years now in china. I have just visited the UK and changed to a UK sim card which worked fine. Im now back in Hong kong re fitted the two chinese sim cards and my main number will not activate for imessage

Phone numbers for iMessage when travelling overseas Hi, I have been in the UK (from Australia) since 16th June and was able to send and receive iMessages from my Australian mobile number while using my UK SIM card. As 30 days was up I had to reinstall my Aus sim to be able to keep using the number for iMessage, however since I have done this I can no longer use the Aus number for iMessage when my UK sim is installed. Does anyone know how you maintain the Aus phone number in iMessage when changing sims?

Weird dual sim behaviour in iPhone 13 mini Hello, I have an iPhone 13 mini with the latest iOS. I have two sim cards from different countries. Recently (in order to skip having to change sim cards each time I'm abroad) I changed one of the sim cards to an esim. When I'm in one country, I disable the other sim via the Settings. I am now abroad (where I use the "classic" sim) and I noticed two weird things: When people call me and I don't answer, they reach a voicemail in the language of my esim. I still get sms messages for my esim number (although I cannot answer). Why is that ? Thanks [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Travelling with a SIM card Upon the start of a vacation I picked up a local in-country SIM card. I continue to receive a message through my settings that my Canadian phone number, which I am not using with the new SIM chip while travelling, the message is: this number is registered to your AppleID, but is not associated with this phone. It also says that iMessage and FaceTime will expire in 4 days. I am still travelling and don’t get back to Canada for 3 weeks. Is there anything that I need to do to ensure that my iMessage and FaceTime accounts don’t get screwed up? Thanks

Please review the instructions in this guide published by Apple 👉 If you can't turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime.

You will need to contact your Chinese cellular provider for assistance with your SIM cards.
