why can't I view my keychain password after I type in my MAC administrator pw? Using MacOS Ventura on MacBook Pro

You do not paint a very big picture to describe the issue...



How far do you get?


Do you get the dialog box popup after you click "Show Password"


Old issue , new issue, what changed?


Have you changed your Admin password? Keychain will retain the original password

It's a new issue, but so is my Comcast Gateway modem/router. I do get to the point that I have typed my Admin pw into the box, but the pw box bottom left shows no check and no pw appears. If I try to re-check again, the dialog popup comes back to ask me to enter it again. But nada


I had just changed my appleid pw, had it stored for memory, and tested it. So when this problem happened, I went to my keychain list to find the most recent item and it was com.apple.NetworkServiceProxy.ProxyToken. Shouldn't my apple id pw be listed this way, in the keychain?


This it the key that wouldn't work. Access Control requires "Confirm
