I have the same problem. I have tried with different computers and no way. 😟
I have tried all that things. With 3 different computers (Xp, Win7 and Mac), 2 different cables, etc.
The phone is new (less than 6 months). I think Apple wants more money from me... 😠
As the phone is less than a year old it is still under warranty. Just take it to Apple and they will replace it. No more money.

In fact, this mobile is a replacement of one that got wet. In cases like that, the warranty is only for 90 days.
I think is a software problem, but the only solution they give me is to pay 200€ to repair it... 😟

I have the same issue with the new OS5 update. I don't know what the deal is. I thought it was because I have a Windows OS on my computer, but apparently it's happening with your Mac..? This is not boding well.
An Apple technician told me that it could be a battery problem. 2 months have gone by, and still I don't have my phone 😟

AppleCare Service has updated it to IOS5. They haven't found any other problem.
It was under guarantee after all. 🙂
