How can I log a device into my Apple ID WITHOUT it being able to receive 2FA verification codes?

To be clear, I don't want to REMOVE the device entirely. I want it to be logged in to iCloud etc, just at an "untrusted" level or whatever such that 2FA codes will NOT be sent to it.

Can't find anything on this or if it's even possible.

Let the trusted and verified number be in the 2FA account from Mac , but don't sync iPhone with Mac ( don't sign in with same Apple ID and password on the same network ) , the devices will not be removed , you can still access the account from Mac system preferences , click on get a verification code .

Don't think I was clear.

I do NOT want 2FA codes sent to my Mac. My Mac is used by others.

Right now I am able to fully access the account from my Mac. Because my Mac receives the 2FA codes.

I don't want this. I want someone on the Mac to also NEED access to my phone/other device if they want to do stuff that requires 2FA. Right now they do not, it can all be done just simply from my Mac alone.
