I updated to OS Ventura and now there's a red #1 badge on the icon. When I open the app, I don't see the red badge anywhere. So, I'm not sure how to get rid of it.

Try to see if Notification center shows anything regarding the TV app.
Try to see if there are or were banners or alerts in the top right corner regarding the TV app.
Else disable badge icon notifications for this app in System Preferences﹥Notifications & Focus﹥Notifications﹥TV app﹥[uncheck] Badge app icon.
