AOD problem with iOS 16.2

hello everyone

since I installed ios 16.2 I notice some strange behaviors of the AOD on my iphone 14 pro. basically after a while the screen goes all black and doesn't enter AOD as before. also, if i walk away the screen turns off but if i move closer it doesn't turn back on like it did before. I also updated apple watch but it doesn't seem to fix.

I had to look up what “AOD” means. Apparently its common meaning is “alcohol and other drugs”. But I suppose here you mean “Always-On Display”.

The Always-On Display behavior changed somewhat with iOS 16.2. This explains.
