If you’re listed as an adult or parent on family sharing, why do we constantly get a pop-up requesting payment verification? I’ve tested putting an iTunes gift card on the account, it defaults to verifying the visa over, using the iTunes gift card balance. This is incredibly inconvenient and annoying and should be fixed or the organizer should at least be given the option to allow for purchases without verification from other adults or parents.

If you update your payment method or add funds to your Apple ID balance, It would take about 1 to 3 business days in order to process.
If you're still unable to update your payment method, Contact Apple Support.
Try to do a force restart -> Force restart iPad -> Force restart iPad – Apple Support (UK)
Then use the portrait orientation.
Biggest issue is, if I am using an app locked in landscape orientation, I simply can’t type anything. Seems like an iOS issue. She gets the verification code but I can’t enter it into the UI. See below:
