Developer Mode on iOS16 on iPad

Hi,

What lead me down this path of posting a question towards the Apple Community is an iPad related issue in regards to not being able to connect to a hidden SSID, or a non-broadcasting SSID.

The issue became prevalent after the recent update to iOS16 from iOS15.

From everything I have done, I have come to the conclusion this is more than likely (not 100% solved as of yet) an internal matter that could possibly be solved within Developer Mode on the iPad, BUT the Developer Mode from what I understand can only be activated on iOS16 if the iPad is connected to a Mac with XCode.

Can there be a fix made to iOS16 that does not require a person to search for, purchase, or bother someone with a Mac to activate the Developer Mode on an Apple Device like an iPad?

Does anyone know of a work-around to activate Developer Mode on the iPad?

This is becoming an issue whereas this is temporarily affecting network security every day.

Thank you

iPad

“Hidden” SSID networks are a good way for your Wi-Fi clients to leak identifiable data everywhere they might then go, and provide no appreciable benefit to security to offset the clients identifying themselves everywhere.

“Hidden” also stand out in routine Wi-Fi scans.

I do however fail to see how borrowing a Windows PC to enable side-loading would help with downgrading your Wi-Fi privacy, though.

“Hidden” networks are, well, not.
