This is a new issue happens after upgrading to macOS Ventura.
FaceTime only captures low resolution video from my webcam. It's a Logitech C920. It was pumping HD videos for FaceTime call in Catalina but no long so after installing Ventura.
I've updated the new update (13.1) just today. The issue persists.
Does FaceTime no longer support 3rd-party webcam moving forward?

It is possible your camera may need an update from the manufacturer regarding compatibility with Ventura. Depending on the age of the camera or drivers, there may be an update that needs to be installed from Logitech to restore full functionality.

Open FaceTime on your Mac.
In the menu bar, select Video to see your devices. Within the dropdown menu, select your preferred device for Camera, Microphone, and Output. This should help with the video and audio quality.

Hm... it seems to be solvable at app level.
Cause... my webcam works (capture high quality video) with Zoom and Slack on Ventura. It's only FaceTime that has the problem (only capture low res video).
