How to stop Google in Safari always recommending Chrome

I'm running macOS Big Sur 11.7.1 and Safari browser version 16.1.

Upon every new launch of Safari, when I start a Google search or anything Google, there's this annoying upper right pop-up "Google recommends using Chrome" which I always dismiss "Don't switch."

How to permanently get rid of the pop-up?

Mac mini, macOS 11.7

I just uncheck "Include search engine suggestions" but kept Google as search engine, and it seems to help. Thanks!
