Apple =Notes on Mac New Note greyed out - can't make new notes solution

This has been happenning every now again on Monterey

Easy Fix

Open Mac OS settings apple top left corner - Preferences...

Open Icloud profile (not family sharing) (top line)

in the right hand block see notes ticked to sync in Icloud

Untick it (untick blue x in Notes)- wait a few seconds

Tick it to show a blue tick again.

Will reset to allow new messages.

Seems to be a bug i find in Notes in Monterey

May need resetting like this again now and Again.

Notes won't sync from my Mac I'm having trouble with Notes syncing from my Mac: Changes in iCloud or other devices are reflected on my Mac Changes in my Mac are not reflected in iCloud except when Notes is first opened. Changes made after are opening are not synced. I have seen this issue reported elsewhere but it wasn't really solved. I've already tried all of the obvious things - my MacOS is up to date, I restarted, I turned Notes syncing on and off, etc. Again, the sync works when Notes starts but subsequent changes aren't reflected in iCloud. I recently added two Google work accounts to my system although Notes is turned off for both of them although I'm suspicious that somehow that's causing this, Any ideas?

How do I fix iCloud Notes not showing on Windows PC? I use iCloud Notes on my windows PC to create checklists for work and personal. Recently my checklists are not showing. I have tried resetting my browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox) and I have also reset and re-installed windows updates however no luck. Any advice? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Locked Notes are now blank I'm uncertain when it happened, perhaps after upgrading to Ventura or iOS 16, but older locked notes are now completely blank once opened. I DO have the password, they DO open, they are just blank. Locked notes that I've opened in the last few months are NOT blank, only ones older than that. Unlocked notes have no issue. I attempted to remove the lock from a note that appeared blank but certainly had information in it, it instead deleted, and DID NOT go to recently deleted in any Notes app or on icloud.com. I am fully up to date with MacOS 13.0.1 and iOS 16.1.1. Notes in iOS, iPadOS, MacOS and iCloud.com are all in sync. All of those places have the same content and same empty locked notes once I open them. I have attempted to turn off icloud notes sync and re-enable on each device with no change. Please note: All unlocked notes are fine, and recently accessed locked notes are also fine. This is only locked notes that had not been accessed for 4+ months that seem to be the issue.
