• Proceed from there as necessary
• Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

Most Apple Store locations DO NOT repair iPads, but ONLY offer in/out-of-warranty device replacement.

If this is an older iPad or an iPad without paid/purchased, extended, 2-year AppleCare+ device warranty, then prepare for an expensive device replacement at, approximately, 60% of that iPad's original price from Apple.

If this is a fairly new iPad model, with a paid/purchased, extended, two-year+ AppleCare+ device warranty plan, a device replacement will ONLY cost you a small device replacement fee at $49 U.S.D..

Time to use the “Support” link, in the top black menu bar, at the upper right hand corner of every Apple Support Community Webpage to attempt to schedule an appointment with your nearest Apple Store location, to have that damaged iPad diagnosed/evaluated and options presented to you.

Apple Store employees will be glad to help/assist you.
