My right AirPods Pro rattles when playing songs with strong base. Did I blow the speaker? The right pod sounds just like a normal speaker that has worn out or blown. Lots of rattling at high volume or during songs with heavy base. It's so bad, I have to turn down the volume. When I do, it (the right pod) plays normally.
This has happened to me as well. After searching the internet, this seems to be a common issue, enough that Apple extended support for up to three years. Unfortunately, the three-year period expired in November for me. I cannot use the AirPod Pros anymore because of the rattle. I ordered a new AirPod Pro II, which arrived today. So far, the new ones seem to be pretty good.
You won't be able to if your headphones were released after 10/2020. Apple only replaces these models for free. Otherwise, buy a new earpiece.
Wooohoo! I'm on with Apple Support now. I qualify! Going to the Apple Store tomorrow to get replacement devices. Awesome!
