Enlarging Fonts in Safari

Other web browsers (IE, Firefox), let the user enlarge the font size for web pages. The ipad's Safari browser does not do this. This makes reading some web sites very difficult -- Such as the Apple Support Forum you're reading now. Panning and zooming the screen ins a very poor solution, because some sites won't zoom, but also because you have to scroll horizontally for every line of text. Is there a font size adjustment in the ipad Safari browser?
