Apple ID verification wrong number

Hey, so I wanted to go to my old Apple ID that I used awhile ago. I still have access to the email used, and I know the password, but when I try to log in, it says it sensed a verification code to a number that ends in 31. My number, nor any of my previous numbers or anyone I know has a number that ends with 31. Is there any way I can get my account back? I still do have access to the email account used for the Apple ID as well as the password. I don’t know what number is currently connected to that Apple ID and I don’t know how to remove it.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. To regain access to your Apple ID, you will need to enable the account recovery process. It a process that allows you to access your account when you don't have enough information to do so, or reset your Apple ID password. The steps to get started are found here:
