How do I increase the visual size of the apps and folders on my iPad? Zoom doesn’t accomplish it.
Do you mean the size of the Home Screen symbols? If so:
Settings > Home Screen & Multitasking > Use Large App Icons = “on”

I admit I have not tried this, but I did find this sentence ...:
