How does I make an image less than 50kb

You can use the app Preview. If your picture is in Photos, you can simply drag the picture over to the Preview icon in the dock, and it will open there.


In Preview, go to Tools>Adjust Size. You can set the number of pixels or the percent reduction, as in this picture:



As you try different reductions, the dialog box will update the size. You just keep changing until you get the size you want.
