Mac OS / Notes / Turn Off Animation

Is it possible to turn off those little animations in the Notes app when you switch back and forth between folders? I know it's a small thing, but it's extremely disorienting to me and would love to be able to turn it off.

*This messageboard forced me to select the app I am asking about, but it inexplicably does not list Notes, so I just selected Pages because it is the closest thing to Notes they had, so don't blame me.
