Has anyone noticed that when they add a new alarm the snooze option is not a default on?

Did Apple recently change the default for the snooze option in the alarm?

Hey there echo0110,

We just tested adding a few new alarms in the Clock app on our own iPhone 13 with iOS 16.2 installed, and we see that the Snooze option for each alarm is enabled by default. That being said, we wanted to confirm our understanding of what's happening on your own iPhone, along with ruling out some general details:

  1. When did this start to occur with newly created alarms?
  2. If you create a new alarm now, does it show the Snooze option is off by default?
  3. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
  4. If you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 16.2. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.

Cheers!
