I recovered a deleted contact, but now I cant delete that contact anymore. If I delete it, it just shows up again.

We'd like to confirm more details to better understand what's happening, along with ruling out some general possible causes:
- You mentioned that you delete this contact in the past, but retrieved it from your deleted contacts. You also mentioned wanting to delete the same contact a second time, and it deletes, but shows up again later. How long after you delete it does it show up again within the Contacts app?
- Does this occur for every contact, or has it only occurred for this one specific contact?
- When did this first start?
- Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
- If you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 16.2. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
