Airplay works on iPhotos to Samsung QN90A TV, but does not work on Youtube, Quicktime, VLC etc

I am able to airplay on my photos app to my Samsung QN90A TV, however, I am unable to airplay via the YouTube App on my iPhone, Quicktime on my Macbook. I can mirror the MacBook screen to the TV without any problem.

For the Macbook, the video will pause and will not play when I airplay via QuickTime to the TV. However, when I immediately exit the airplay, the video will continue to play on QuickTime.

On iPhone, the YouTube video will pause and not airplay on the TV. However, when I exit airplay, the video will continue to play on my iPhone.

Both MacBook and iPhone OS and Apps are updated with the latest versions.

Appreciate some help with this.

If you're prompted to enter a password, you might have restrictions turned on, or you might need to adjust your AirPlay password settings.
