Screen time showing usage in the middle of the night

Why is screen time showing activity in the middle of the night when I have all apps closed and my screen is not active. I do use always on for my lock display. The grey bars at the end of the day are FaceTime. Is Always On messing with my screen time totals?

This has happened multiple times. I did have a pick up at the beginning of that block, but it was just to check the time and then I set my phone back down.

Hi LEG521,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. If you trying to maximize your battery life by monitoring your usage, here are other ways you can do that as well: Batteries - Maximizing Performance - Apple

As for why this happened, we can't speculate as it could be many things from picking up the device, using Face ID, using alarms, etc.

If you would like to leave feedback for Apple on this, here is where you can do so: Product Feedback - Apple

Have a great day.
