time capsule as external hard drive?

i've searched but not found an answer to this question.
can my itunes library be stored on the t.c. and not on my internal h.d.

Mini, Mac OS X (10.6.4), iphone4

yes.

if you'll be happy with the results is another question 😉

also, having the only copy of your precious media files on the TC's drive (which cannot be backed up using time machine) is IMHO rather dangerous.

thanks. i currently have media files stored on an external h.d. and have been moving them to my new mini. it sounds as if i should invest in a newer external hard drive as well.
