An iPhone 14 purchased in the U.S. will support eSim only. So, you will need to confirm that the carrier in Columbia will support eSim. At this time, it appears that Claro and Movistar support eSim, but this is not a guarantee.
If you do purchase the phone in the U.S., the phone will have no warranty in Columbia, so if the phone requires service, you will have to send the phone to the U.S. for warranty coverage.
Most users should buy a phone in the country in which they will be using the phone most of the time.
