Music 1.2.5.7 won't transfer random AAC files to my iPhone 11. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I drag them from a playlist to the phone, and it just doesn't work. These are files from my cd collection, created with Apple's software. Anyone know why?

So I figured this out and it is the chintziest thing ever. The iPhone won't accept random tracks if they are dragged from a *playlist opened in a new window to the open iPhone screen*. I opened playlists in new windows just to make it a shorter drag to a larger window. Nothing gets blocked if dragged up to the closed iPhone icon on the left from elsewhere. So the issue was the method of dragging. Insert facepalm emoji.
It still doesn't explain why it affected random music tracks.

For example, from my Van Morrison section I can add the complete Moondance and Tupelo Honey albums, but from Astral Weeks I only get one song. There is no distinguishable difference between how these files were created. They are AAC files created from compact discs.
