Continuity Camera (Using iPhone Mic)

So, the continuity camera and the iPhone mic work fine with my MacBook Pro M1 - but my intel Mac Mini does not display the iPhone as a viable sound input option. All my apple devices are fully updated to the latest (respective) OS. All are connected through the same Apple ID and near as I can tell all of the other features function as advertised. Universal Controls work well - is this a situation that requires me to tether my iPhone (via cable) to the Mini?

Mac mini, macOS 13.1

Hi SeraphicImago,

Here's some troubleshooting that may help with your continuity camera issue:

"If Continuity Camera isn't working as expected

  • Make sure that your iPhone and Mac meet the system requirements.
  • Make sure that your iPhone is properly mounted.
  • Install the latest macOS updatesiOS updates, and updates for your video app.
  • If you haven't unlocked your iPhone since it last restarted, unlock it, then lock it again.
  • Plug your iPhone into your Mac.
  • Restart your iPhone or Mac."
